Guided Meditation: Loving Kindness

The Loving Kindness (or “metta”) meditation is intended to enhance one’s compassionate nature. By silently repeating a series of mantras, it energetically sends goodwill, kindness, and warmth inward to ourselves and outward to others. Although it comes from the Buddhist tradition, it can be adapted and practiced by anyone, regardless of religious affiliation.
