When we hear, or see the word MEDITATION, we often think of someone sitting crossed leg - in total silence - for an extended period of time. While this may be true of an advanced practitioner, for most of us, it isn’t doable.
The good news is, we don’t have to!
There are many different ways and techniques to journey inward, one of the most popular is the Mindful Meditation series. But, all are beneficial. Meditating impacts every aspect of our being – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Whether we’re beginners, have a regular practice or find ourselves somewhere in between, CSLto offers support and guidance. Individually and collectively, meditating in community raises the energy for everyone present and further enhances the experience.
All our meditations at the Centre for Spiritual Living Toronto are led by a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner and are FREE to attend.
Every Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. we meet at CSLto for 45 minutes. The leader, theme, style, and music vary, and in addition to the more familiar genres, we could just as easily be chanting the Vedas, listening to Native American drumming or repeating an ancient Hawaiian mantra.
You are also welcome to join in on the Science of Mind Study group that takes place from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm every Wednesday.
Similarly, every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. we offer a 15-minute meditation prior to our Celebration Service which includes live music and guest vocalists from around the city.
